Encrypted sensitive fields
SSNs and ITINs are encrypted with envelope encryption on AWS and masked to the last four digits. Only admins can reveal them.

A complete record
Provider responses, analyst notes, decisions and document requests are kept on the case. Closed cases lock, and changes create a new timestamped version.
Customers see only their steps
Applicants never see raw screening data or internal notes.
